I still remember the version of me who ran events that only moved if I was the one moving them. I'd learned the job by doing every piece of it myself — high-volume, multi-city, high-profile activations where the margin for error was thin and the pressure was the point. And it worked. It worked because I was everywhere at once.
But I'd also seen what that catches up to: the moment you step away, things stall. The business, the team, the growth — all of it quietly depending on one person holding it together. I didn't want to build that. I wanted to build the thing that holds up whether I'm in the room or not.
